About Us
We are Keith and Suzanne, a Belfast couple, who left the rat race and moved to the country, living and working from our County Fermanagh home, but as Granny said, we would always be ‘born buttered and baked in Belfast…..
Having converted a small outbuilding into a tiny commercial kitchen and studio, we produce a range of simply unique pottery and preserves.
We use only traditional methods, the preserves are all hand made, in small batches, using open pans and traditional recipes, but we like to add a thoroughly modern twist! Some have a generous splash of alcohol, some are inspired by retro sweets and others by our childhoods, Keith picking apples in their Loughgall orchards and Suzanne’s Grandad, growing all the ingredients that we use in our Belfast Relish.
Our pottery continues the fun theme. Suzanne says she is a ‘Happy Potter’ producing a range of bright, cheery functional pottery plus cute and cheeky Christmas Decorations and hanging hearts Again, inspiration comes from the world around us and a slightly off beat look at life.
All our pottery is hand drawn, hand painted, hang glazed and then kiln fired to make it suitable for everyday use. We have spent a long time experimenting with colours, glazes and firing temperatures, to get the vibrant colours and gloss finish that we love.
Suzanne occasionally sells her watercolour paintings, but has had some made into prints, greeting cards and coasters which are also available on the site
We would love it if you would follow us on Facebook, Instagram and twitter for all our latest ramblings, makings and activities!
